Advantage Employment Partnerships staff work closely
with the Department of Social &
Health Services Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the
Division of Developmental
Disabilities to place individuals
with disabilities in the community workforce. EFI's focus is on the
individual's abilities while working with the business community to place,
train, and provide support to both the client and employer.

On-the-job training provided by Advantage staff at no cost to the
employer, typically for the first month of employment, sometimes longer

Job coaching is sometimes reinstated as additional tasks are added or if
retraining becomes necessary
Job Retention:

Follow-up services with the participants and/or employer

Intervention, if necessary, to assure satisfaction to both the employer
and the participant
